Mark & Estel 1-Day Sketch Challenge
Design firm Mark & Estel presented me with a 1-day challenge to determine whether I have the desired design mindset to be a part of their design team as an intern. The challenge was to design 5 dropcrotch pants according to 3 categories: Gothic, Native-American, and Punk Rock.
As an adamant gown designer, I found the task rather challenging; therefore, I approached each sketch from the point of view of a gown designer (which became the sketches on the left) then transformed each sketch into what I see fit the Mark & Estel brand (the sketches on the right). The entire process took 13 hours in total.
All sketches are rendered via computer using the SketchBook App and the DigiPro tablet, and they are all designed and completed by Emil Sleman
